ARIS (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers and visitors (“you”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard your personal information when you interact with our website, mobile application and services (collectively, the “Platform”). By using the Platform, you consent to the practices described in this Policy.

2.1 Information You Provide Directly
Account information: Name, email address, phone number, mailing address, username and password when you create an account or book services.
Payment information: Credit‑card or bank‑account details used to process payments (processed by third‑party payment processors, not stored on our servers).
Booking details: Service preferences, travel dates, pick‑up and drop‑off locations and any special requests.
Communications: Content of messages you send to us via email, chat or customer support.
2.2 Information We Collect Automatically
Device data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers and browsing behavior, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
Usage data: Pages viewed, links clicked, features used, time spent on the Platform and other usage statistics.
Location data: Approximate location based on IP address; more precise location if you enable geolocation services.
2.3 Information from Third Parties
Affiliates and partners: Information about your bookings and service usage provided by our affiliates (e.g., drivers, yacht crews and pilots).
Marketing/data providers: Demographic and interest data used to personalize marketing communications.

We use personal information to:
Provide, operate and maintain the Platform and services;
Process and fulfill bookings and communicate with you and service providers;
Respond to inquiries and provide customer support;

Analyze usage trends and improve our Platform and services;

Affiliates and service providers: Independent drivers, yacht operators, pilots and other vendors who provide the services you request, and trusted third‑party vendors performing functions on our behalf (payment processing, analytics, marketing, customer support). These parties are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for specified purposes.
Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition or asset sale.
Legal requirements: When required to comply with law or protect our rights or the safety of others.
ARIS does not sell your personal information to third parties.

We use cookies and similar technologies to collect usage data and enhance your experience. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; however, doing so may affect the functionality of the Platform.

We implement reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards—including encryption, access controls and secure servers—to protect your personal information. No security measures are perfect; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain personal information as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. When no longer required, we delete or anonymize the data.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal information, and to opt out of marketing communications. California residents can request that we not sell their data (we currently do not sell personal information). To exercise these rights, contact us using the information below; we may verify your identity before acting on your request.

If you are outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. or other countries with different data‑protection laws. We use safeguards such as standard contractual clauses to protect your data.
11. Children’s Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us to request deletion.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will post the updated policy on our Platform and indicate the effective date. If changes are material, we will provide notice and obtain consent when required by law. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

We do not “sell” personal information for monetary consideration, nor do we “share” personal information for cross‑context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law.

Opt‑out of Sale or Sharing: Request that we not sell or share your personal information. As noted above, we do not currently sell or share personal information as defined in the CCPA/CPRA.

We do not collect sensitive personal information for purposes other than those authorized by California law.
